Hola! I am originally from Devon and have now lived in the Malaga province in Andalucia for 18 years (where on earth did that time go?). Initially I came over to take a TEFL teaching course in Zamora in the north and decided to have a teeny tiny little holiday in Malaga afterwards and fell in love with the country and also fell in love with my other half and never went home (except to visit, would be awfully rude if I didn’t). 18 years later and we live in the countryside in the mountains near Malaga with our 2 large crazy dogs and our 2 small even crazier children.

I adore weddings. Ever since I was a bridesmaid for the first time aged 5 I have had the wedding bug. That, combined with a huge family meant that weddings were something we attended regularly and the excitement surrounding such a special day has always made me smile and feel a bit gooey inside.

Quite simply, I love the way that couples can choose to do something completely different from the “norm” and make their wedding something amazing and personal to them. It is truly inspiring. I feel that weddings/ceremonies should always be a really joyous and meaningful occasion tailor-made to the happy couple.

I am passionate about so many things, far too many to mention them all but here a just a few:

  • I enjoy drinking a fine glass of wine or a good G&T with fresh lemon from my own garden.
  • I have a love/hate relationship with spinning. I compare it to childbirth, it is horrible but once you have done it you seem to forget how horrible and do it all over again.
  • I like to think I can sing but have been reliably informed that I am seriously over estimating my talents and would be laughed out of the X factor auditions.
  • Almost every day in my world is a bad hair day, thank Gloria for up do’s!
  • I enjoy reading and watching a good TV series or film, no horror films for me thanks, I don’t need that sort of scariness filling my head and giving me nightmares.
  • I have an odd phobia of bees and also of feet.
  • I enjoy swimming and skiing, not the kamikaze kind but the relaxed meander down a mountain and stop off for hot chocolate or mulled wine type of skiing.
  • I adore travel and visiting new places, exploring Spain (which is actually a huge and incredibly diverse country) and spending time with my awesome little family.

That was slightly more than a few.

My motto is “Pray to the God of all, drink the wine and let the world be the world”.

I would be truly honoured to be a part of your incredibly special day!

**Isn’t Gayle awesome? Natasha wrote that bit, not Gayle! And this is what some of Gayle’s recent couples have said.

“Now everything has calmed down, we just wanted to send you a little message to say thank you for Saturday. As a person you are a gem, but as a celebrant you were outstanding. You went above and beyond and everything ran seamlessly. We had the best day, the ceremony went better than we had imagined it could and people are still raving about how personal it was. Everyone was blown away at your ability to conduct such a personal ceremony having met us once via zoom! Thank you again for everything and I hope we can stay in touch.”
Jade and Nick, married at Casa del Rio, September 2022

“Gayle, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for making our ceremony so special. It was so personal and we both loved every moment. There were lots of tears and everyone was talking about how special it was. You are AMAZING at what you do!”
Callum and Lisa, married by Gayle at Cortijo de los Caballos, June, 2022

Gayle, thank you so much for our ceremony at Finca Villa La Palma. Our service was so well put together and all of our guests praised you. They loved how relaxed and personal the ceremony was. Thank you for your time spent putting our ceremony together, as it was exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend you to anyone getting married in Spain.”

Danielle and Jay, married by Gayle in June, 2022 at Finca La Palma

“We cannot recommend these guys enough, from the initial contact, to planning the ceremony and the real thing, they were so fantastic! Our wedding day would not have been half as special without them and their input. So many members of our families and friends commented on how the ceremony was one of the best they had ever been to and ‘so us’ – this was completely down to this wonderful company and fantastic celebrant gayle! Thank you for making our day and ceremony better then we could have ever imagined.”

Alice & Brian, married at Finca al Limon, Cártama, September 2021

“As the dust begins to settle, and we start to process this extraordinary weekend, we are only starting to realise what an amazing time it was.
And the night began with your wonderful ceremony; the words, the delivery, the tone. It all struck a chord with not only us but with everyone there. So many of our family and friends complimented us on the service.
There were so many moving parts with a wedding; the food, the venue, the lighting, sound and music. And as a result, the importance of the ceremony gets lost along the way. But thanks to your tactful guidance and suggestions, it set a superb tone for what was to follow.
Gayle, one big thank you for providing us with a series of beautiful moments, that will forever remain in our memories.”
Annette & Francis, April, 2019

“What a pleasure! We can not recommend Malaga Minister enough and wish we could add a hundred extra stars. <img draggable=

We received compliments for days after. Our guests said they were amazed with the ceremony and they’ve never been to such a beautifully crafted service. But more importantly, we enjoyed our bilingual wedding thoroughly.

From the very start, Gayle made us feel like everything was under control, which it was. From gathering information about us to designing our perfect celebration. We were confident and relaxed about every detail.

Gayle, thank you for an amazing ceremony and being one of the highlights of the entire day!”

Almudena & Dylan, April, 2019
“We really cannot thank Gayle enough for her contribution to our wedding day – she made it!
The ceremony was so gorgeous and fun and everything we wanted. Naturally I couldn’t get a word out when it came to my vows for tears, lol.
From our first call with Gayle she was a super star and she arrived when we were still in pyjamas and still dithering about the weather and just took it all in her stride – a total pro.
Any couple would be lucky to have Gayle or any of your team as part of their day. ” Laura & Gary, April, 2019
Gayle carried out our ceremony and was wonderful. Friendly and helpful, she made the us feel relaxed and at ease, offering exactly the right level of support. All in all Malaga Minister provided a perfect service. Thank you very much for helping to make a very special day even better.” Charlie and Jonathan, May 2018
Our biggest thanks to Gayle for the job she did with our wedding! It was great, and she was perfect.” Liz & Brenden – June 2018

I cannot fault Natasha and her team in any way – both Natasha and Gayle were incredibly helpful, kind and all-round wonderful. Our ceremony was beyond anything we imagined and that was down to their guidance and advice. We loved every second and I can’t thank Gayle & Natasha enough for being such a special part of our day. The access to the materials they have as part of their service (vow ideas and advice, wedding readings, ceremony tips etc). is fantastic and really helped us create a very personal service. Gayle was an absolute joy on the day and beforehand – she radiates warmth and happiness!” Abi & Joe, married at Finca Monasterio, June 2018

Thank you for our gorgeous wedding, Gayle was amazing! We couldn’t have wished for more. ” Kirsty & Callum – April, 2018
