Originally from London (born and bred), Simon started his broadcasting and public speaking career in the 90s as a BBC journalist and sports & entertainment reporter. Before that he worked as a print journalist for the likes of David Dimbleby’s newspaper group in South West London, after studying for a degree in English Literature. 

During his time as a reporter Simon covered stories from international politics to the BAFTAs. He found himself interviewing Kate Winslet, Spike Lee, and Monica Bellucci as well as key members of Tony Blair’s cabinet such as the Deputy Prime Minister. Fun fact: Simon and Natasha met at the BBC but were rivals before lovers! Think Heated Rivalry meets The Newsroom.

As well as being a talented classical guitarist who often plays at weddings and events on the Costa del Sol, Simon has also trained as a wedding celebrant via the Celebrants Collective celebrant training organisation.

Drawing on his rich experiences in broadcast and written journalism, Simon has a commanding but compassionate presence, helping couples to celebrate their special day knowing that they are in safe, professional hands.

Simon's ceremony fee is 700€.
